Food price soaring

Background

The retail price of the nine main basic needs in Indonesia has risen in a big percentage the last few months (as per March 2008), its more like inflation or so.  

Mr President, please write me idea to write on this page.

Idea 1

This is my Idea to stabilise the food price in Indonesia

1. I will move army like 10.000 troops from Java to Borneo.  Troops are easier to control than transmigrants, they will obey my commands, not complaining and not afraid of the wild tribes there.  Moreover they will not burn the forest.

2. Assign them to build advanced 21s century farm in multiple stages, e.g. 5.000 HA per month and infrastructures to the city.  In a year or so, Indonesia will be able to supply its own needs for foods, including rice, soy and palm oil.

3. After the farming harvests for the first time, then I will build a military base near that to control the safety and distribution.  The food supply for the military base will be fulfilled by the farm there before it can expands

4. I will provide rewards and medals for the soldier who manage to farm well, e.g. who can reach targeted yields per HA will got a medal.

5. Hopefully this will stabilise the food price in Indonesia and on the other hand, we have the area secured at the same time, avoiding illegal logging, forest burning and many other things.

I believe using army for rescuing the country from foods crisis is consistent with the reason of army existence.
